On May 17, the entertainment world was rocked by the death of Donna Summer, and new details have emerged regarding her demise.

According to a report, the Queen of Disco did not die of breast cancer as some sources had suggested, but rather lung cancer.

An insider told press, "She had lung cancer. She got it about a year ago. She was not a smoker. Her family knew. I just think that she's private."

The source added, "It's not like she was in bad shape. She was healthy, she was taking care of herself. She was healthy and energetic when I worked with her."

President Barack Obama stated, "Donna truly was the 'Queen of Disco.' Her voice was unforgettable, and the music industry has lost a legend far too soon."
